The restaurant is gorgeous, lot of natural light and comfy vibe. The ramen was delicious as well, the Chaplin ass was spicy and savory. Portions were good, but the ramen was not mind blowing.

We had so much fun here for a Saturday date night! The ramen was absolutely delicious. They have food cocktails and wine. I love restaurants that give you a bottle of water on your table to refill your glass and this place has just that! Our waitress was very kind. All of the staff was fast and friendly. We tried the beef gyoza steamed, and two ramen bowls - the tan tan and the A.S.S. We loved them both!! Would 100% come back here and recommend.

Chaplins is a fun spot for a meal with friends, but the vibes are definitely the priority here. It's dark and loud, and there's an option for a shot of whiskey in your dumplings which just makes them taste like a shot. The presentation is fun as your waiter literally injects the dumpling in front of you, but again, it becomes a gimmick rather than a well infused dish. The ramen and dumplings are pretty good, but I definitely felt this restaurant was going for energy over quality (but there's a time for that too!). Come here with friends, have some cocktails, and enjoy the scene :)

This was my first time dining at Chaplin's and it was well overdue. After a night of attending the HBCU Honors, a few friends and I were ready for something good to eat. We arrived at Chaplins a little after 10pm and was promptly seated--the service was fast and great all night and the he ambiance is sexy, spacious, but yet cozy... perfectly dim and moody but also very inviting, perfect for a date night or an evening with friends. We all started with their season hot toddy which i loved! The earl grey tea was a nice touch. Now, let's talk Ramen.... Chaplin A.S.S. --OHEMGEE hands down the best ramen I've ever had. Warm, comforting, indulgent, and outright delicious. I added pork belly and dry seaweed to my bowl and all of the elements together created the most satisfying and well balanced broth full of umami that tantalized my palate. It was my first but certainly not my last time dining at Chaplins.

Still an oldie but goodie! Excited Chaplin's brought back unlimited veuve clicquot for brunch for only $40. This also includes food. Now for 3 hours!!!! If you can't make it to brunch on Saturday and Sunday they're serving veuve clicquot by the glass for $18 while others are charging $30 per glass. The Ramen is amazing with several selections and the fried chicken is top notch. Excellent prices and great service.

Wasn't expecting much for ramen in DC because I've had my fair share of bomb ramen in the Bay. But this place took me by surprise! I really enjoyed the Chaplin ramen and the black sesame paste was a unique twist. The ramen noodles was chewy texture. Not too soft. I swapped my meat for chicken and it was so tender and juicy! Also tried their drinks. Always love a good refreshing fruity drink. They have so many options on the menu so can't go wrong! This place does have outdoor seatings and can take reservations!

Found this place after a quick Google search for ramen HH and I loved it! The bar staff were so helpful with explaining things on the menu and recommending drinks! The service was very quick as well. Their HH menu is drinks only but worth a visit still! The drinks were half off so ranged from $6.50-$7.50! The curry ramen was soooooo good! I highly recommend it and I can't wait to try it again!
